Each type of gate hinge suits different gate setup. Hinges with long strap helps to reinforce the overall timber frame structure. Double butt hinges are suitable for narrow frame e.g. garden gates.
Weld-on short strap hinges are designed to fit on steel gate frames and steel posts. Butt and weld-on short strap hinges are designed to fit on steel gate frames and timber posts.
With anti-lift option, the hinge pin is permanently fixed in the knuckle. This adds extra security.
